At CCTV and Home Theatre Services we supply and install backup power supplies to protect hardware equipment or electrical equipment in the case of unexpected power disruptions and outages. Our backup power supply equipment is sourced from the globally accredited HIKvision to ensure the prevention of data loss as well as the safety of individuals present during unexpected outages. HIKvision products is used governments as well as police for monitoring.

UPS Systems

An Uninterruptible Power Supply system, otherwise known as a UPS system, is an electrical generator that provides emergency power when there is an electrical outage or power failure. A UPS differs to that of a generator in that it provides a near-instantaneous protection from input power interruptions, by supplying energy that has been previously stored in batteries. The battery life of a UPS system is short-lived, however provides enough time to properly shut-down any running systems to prevent data loss and damage.

At CCTV and Home Theatre Services we are able to supply and install small free-standing UPS systems as well as UPS systems at a larger scale.

Inverter

Power inverters change direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC) to power electrical systems in cases of power outages or electrical interruptions. The DC to AC backup inverters are essential for home and office use to prevent data loss. Backup inverters can be entirely electronic or it may be a combination of mechanical efforts and electronic circuitry.

At CCTV and Home Theatre Service we supply a variety of power inverters, from those that are portable to those that need installing in homes and offices.
